Yorkshire Terriers - Yorkies - Golden Sables/Parti Carriers/Standards for sale in Burningtown, North Carolina

$500

Beautiful Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We have 4 generations in our home. We have a great reputation and many references. When our fur babies go to their new homes they will have been wormed on an appropriate puppy schedule, they will have had their 1st shots (unless their new family/vet prefers to have all shots done in house). After being taken to the vet for tail docking/dew claw removal between birth

48 hours our babies are never taken outside or handled by anyone but us prior to going to their new homes. We do not take formal applications but ask that perspective owners tell us about themselves and the life our fur baby would have and what personality they are looking for in their puppy. Based upon that information we choose a puppy (or puppies) that closely match the information you provide. We will send pictures/videos and start calling your puppy by the name you choose. We pad train our puppies but our adult dogs use a doggie door to an enclosed lot. We currently have 2 litters that were born 9 days apart. They are all half siblings because they all share the same father. He is a beautiful 6.9lb black and tan. His great grandmother is a parti carrier and his great grandfather is a champagne blonde with chocolate tips (nose/pads/ear tips). The first litter produced 2 males/1 female. The mother to this litter is a standard black & tan and weighs 6.2lbs. The mother to the second litter is an apricot/white with black tipping Parti Yorkie. Her litter produced 3 males and 1 female. One male is a GOLDEN SABLE. All the puppies in both litters would be considered parti carriers because both parents have at least a parti carrier in their bloodline. Several of the puppies have a white chest blaze or a white tipped toe

these markings usually go away by the time they reach adulthood.
As a breeder there are two questions I am asked repeatedly so I will go ahead and answer them here. Not only are these vet answers you can do your research about breed standard on the net or ask other educated Yorkie owners. (We have over 20 years experience). We do not price or take any deposits on our puppies until they are at least 5 weeks old and homes are approved. I do the raising and home approval and my husband does all the selling and pick ups/deliveries. Standard males are $500+ and go up from there.

There is no such thing as a Teacup/Toy or Micro Yorkie

the breed is simply Yorkshire Terrier. If you see an ad advertising one of these it is simply a ploy to play on the ideal of having a kitten size dog. Yorkies do range in size but the breed standard is between 6-8lbs. There are breeders that back breed to get the tiny ones but not only is it very dangerous to breed a dog that weighs less than 6 pounds the puppies produced generally have short life spans and health problems. We raise puppies to live long healthy lives with their families. The second part of the question is How big do you think it will be when it is grown? That is like asking a mother of a 6 month old baby how big it will be when it is 8. Our vet says to always answer that question like this: genetics only play a small role in the size of an adult dog of any breed. The rest depends on things like diet/exercise/environment and even the region of the country you live in. If you are looking for a guarantee that your puppy will grow to be 5lbs you are inquiring to the wrong breeder and if you get a breeder that will guarantee that you should get a signed guarantee.

The second question is about the coat and color. In general black & tan Yorkie puppies are born with the same coloring as Rottweiler and Dobermans but a large percentage of them change colors several times over their lifetime. There are other Yorkies that are born with their adult color

Parti & Beiwers but only when bred to other Parti and Beiwers.
